As soon as she put it on in the store we all KNEW that it was THE dress for her!

We also wanted to share some love to the wonderful photographer who captured all of these stunning photos - Stephen Seebeck! We have adored him for years and he is a great talent that we are glad to have in St. Louis. While he isn't working his magic behind the scenes at weddings he spends his time doing lots of work outside of St. Louis.

His most recent work can be seen this Tuesday, November 30th on channel A&E at 10/9c during the Series Premiere of "Strange Days with Bob Saget".

New York Bridal Market

Every year when I wake up to the first chilly autumn morning I start getting excited for our big trip to Fall Bridal Market in New York. During our trip we get to see all of the wedding gown runway shows and newest designs from our favorite designers. It amazes me every time how they can keep coming up with such new and cutting edge designs year after year!

I promise to post all of the newest dresses from the runway shows as soon as I can. We are already making our appointments and filling our schedule for a VERY busy weekend. We are seeing all of our favorites and a few new designers to see if they will fill a niche in St. Louis for us!

We had a bride who was interested in the dress CHANDLER from Monique Lhuillier's new Spring 2011 collection so we worked it out with Monique's staff to have it sent to our store so this lucky bride could try it on.

This photo does not do it justice - it is STUNNING!! It is a fully beaded and sequined gown that sparkles in every light. We are in love with it. And it got us thinking . . . .

We are very excited because that is our SUPER CUTE dress on the cover!!
The dress is "Maribel" by Christos and features a sweetheart neckline and the most adorable dotted swiss organza fabric! PERFECT for all Summer Weddings!

BIJOU UPDATE !!!!

We are very happy to announce that we loved the dress BIJOU so much when we first saw it at market that we ordered it to have in the store - and it has finally arrived!!
So after a few weeks of fawning over the Trunk Show sample that has been visiting us we now have our very own to show all of the lucky brides in St. Louis!!!

The CHRISTOS collection, now under the creative direction of Amsale, owner and creative director of AMSALE, has long been established as the couture collection for the classic, romantic bride.

Amsale's CHRISTOS gowns have long stood out for their impeccable heirloom quality. Her use of the finest silks, French laces and silk organza are staples of the collection. CHRISTOS designs are especially known for their use of Alençon lace, or point d'Alençon, a type of needle lace created in a French town by the same name. Alençon, a small town in Normandy, began manufacturing lace in the sixteenth century. This same lace is used today to create CHRISTOS classic romantic designs.

It has been a long time coming but after a small transition we are finally settled into our new home as one store inside Plaza Frontenac. Our favorite designers all available at one store! Amsale, Christos, Lea-Ann Belter, Anne Barge, Monique Lhuillier, Watters, Martina Liana . . . the list goes on and on! And that is just the bridal gowns! HOW EXCITING!!!

Now that the move is complete we are starting to gear up for all of the Trunk Shows we have coming up! The first is with Lea-Ann Belter herself March 19-20th!!! Lea-Ann will be making the trip from Toronto to St. Louis to come and meet with our lucky brides. What a great opportunity to meet with the designer of your dream wedding gown!!!
